Elevate your artistry and get to know our Summer Faculty before Summer 2021!
Each event below will feature a masterclass, an optional lunchtime social hour, as well as a lecture presentation for $100. Non-participating auditors are welcome to join – get all day access for $20!
New events are added regularly. Your Zoom link will be sent to you once payment is received.

Join us for the first event in 2020-2021 series. Can’t wait for next summer’s Adult Piano Seminar to learn from Hsing-ay Hsu? On October 10th, Steinway Artist and host of Conscious Listening™ Music Café Hsing-ay Hsu will lead a masterclass and perform a program entitled “City Solitude” live from New York!

For Advanced Oboists in High School or College
Following his masterclass, Young Artist Seminar faculty member Peter Cooper will lead students through the process of auditioning with a presentation entitled “Audition Preparation: A Mental, Emotional, and Music Journey.” If you plan on auditioning in the near future, this is for you!

For Advanced Cellists or String Quartets in High School or College
On November 14, Young Artist Seminar faculty member Si-Yan Darren Li leads a masterclass for both cellists and string quartets followed by a lecture presentation entitled “Preparing for Auditions and Competitions.”
For Advanced Bassoon Players in High School or College
Calling all bassoonists interested in learning from our Young Artist Seminar faculty Rémy Taghavi!
For Pianists Aged 18 and Under, Advanced Intermediate to Advanced Students
David Korevaar returns on December 5th to give a masterclass for advanced young pianists under 18, followed by a lecture presentation entitled “Playing Bach on the Piano.”
For Advanced Flutists in High School and College
Music is an important tool in reacting to and contributing to discussions about what is happening in our society. After her masterclass on December 12, Claudia Anderson will give a lecture presentation entitled “How to Create Programs That Have Social Relevance.”
For Advanced Clarinetists in High School and College
Work on your technique with David Shea in early 2021! After his masterclass, David will give a lecture presentation entitled “Synchronicity: Perfect Tone, Technique, and Tonguing Together.”
Join us in the spring of 2021 for summer Adult Piano Seminar faculty Sergio Gallo’s masterclass event, followed by a lecture presentation entitled “The Life and Music of Anton Rubinstein.”
