“This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before.” – Leonard Bernstein

Sounds of Hope Scholarship Application

When Rocky Ridge began in 1942 in the midst of World War II, Beth Miller Harrod, our founder, brought students up to the tranquility of the Rocky Mountains where they could practice in peace away from the brutality of the world around them.

In that same spirit, Rocky Ridge Music will offer several full-scholarships to musicians who have been displaced by violence throughout the world for our Summer 2022 programs.

If you are a musician (18+) who has been displaced by recent violence in Afghanistan, Ukraine, or anywhere in the world and would like to submit an application for a full scholarship to our College Intensive (May 31 – June 26) or Adult Piano Seminar (Aug 2 to Aug 10) for Summer 2022, please submit the form below and we will be in touch with you about next steps. Thank you.

Scholarships will cover all program tuition, airfare to Denver International Airport, land transportation to our campus in Estes Park, food, housing, bedding, visa application, and, if necessary, instrument rental for each recipient.
