Sahana Shravan is a violinist from Boca Raton, FL, where she got her start on the instrument, as well as in chamber music and teaching. In her chamber music adventures, she has visited various New York City venues such as Alice Tully Hall, Tenri Cultural Institute, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Chelsea Music Festival. In recent years, Sahana has been in fellowship quartet programs at festivals such as Madeline Island, Colorado Music Festival, and the European American Musical Alliance. She is a teaching artist for organizations such as the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Concerts for Compassion, and has spent extensive time in NYC K-12 public schools, where she teaches everything from the very beginnings of music appreciation to chamber music. She holds two degrees from The Juilliard School, where she studied with Catherine Cho and Areta Zhulla.
