Mari Meza-Burgos is an actor, singer and musician from Colorado. Mari has spent most of her life on stage performing music from the regional sounds of Mexico, also known as Mariachi. She currently is a member of Colorado-based female Mexican trio, Las Dahlias. Mari has also been in many productions at Su Teatro, has worked with Curious Theatre Company and has traveled to Egypt where she played in a multilingual version of Tennessee Williams’s The Glass Menagerie. She is a graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Music and obtained an MFA in Theatre, Contemporary Performance from Naropa University. Mari is currently working with the Latino Cultural Arts Center as Music Coordinator where she is making music education more accessible to BIPOC students.
