Dandan Liu is a doctoral student majoring in piano performance at the University of
Northern Colorado. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master degrees, also in piano
performance at Sichuan Conservatory of Music in China. She is currently working as a
Graduate Teaching Assistant at UNC and is also an Instructor in piano at Aims Community
College in Greeley. Dandan has eight years of experience teaching piano at all levels and
to all ages of students. Some of her students have won national and International
competitions, such as Walt Disney 90th Anniversary Piano Competition 2014, and
Zhongxin International Piano competition and Festival in Singapore.

Dandan Liu is an accomplished concert pianist having performed in the United States,
Europe and Asia. She performed with the Italy Perugia Orchestra as well as with local
operas in Schloss Heusenstamm, Kurhaus, Bad Schwalbach in Germany. She was awarded
a second-place prize at the Music Teacher National Association competition in Colorado,
a second-place prize at the Italy Imola Piano Competition, and Excellent Teacher award at
the Walt Disney 90th Anniversary of Piano Competition.
