Music Academy Frequently Asked Questions

Can I try out a lesson before committing?

Absolutely! We offer 30 minutes trial lessons with any of our teachers for $25. No commitment, no obligation. Just call 303-449-1106 or email MusicAcademy@RockyRidge.org to schedule a trial lesson.

I don’t own an instrument and I’m not sure which one I want to play. Can I try out some different instruments before buying one?

Yes! Rocky Ridge is proud to partner with HB Woodsongs of Boulder to offer short-term instrument rentals to our students. You can rent an instrument from Woodsongs for just a few days to bring to your trial lesson at Rocky Ridge; if you like it, your fees will be applied towards a long-term rental or purchase. If you don’t like it, take it back! Stop by the RRMA office to pick up a rental form.

I’m really busy; can music lessons fit in to my schedule?

We’re confident that we can accommodate any schedule. If you are able to do weekly lessons, you can receive our semester rate (pro-rated to whichever week you start lessons), but if not our “Flex-Pack” lessons will allow you to find time for music even in the busiest schedule.

Do you screen your teachers before they work one-on-one with my child?

All of our teachers are professionally background-checked.
