Dear Rocky Ridge Music Academy Family,

As you know, the health and safety of all students, faculty, and staff is of the utmost importance to us here at Rocky Ridge Music Center.  With coronavirus on everyone’s mind, we wanted to let you know what steps we are taking to ensure that we are prepared.

First, we are remaining informed by receiving timely updates from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as from the Colorado Department of Health. We recognize that there are many different unverified sources of information about coronavirus online and on social media; however, these sources are sometimes not based on science and may be unintentionally alarming.  For the most accurate and up-to-date information, we are relying on only official sources.

Second, leadership along with our medical team are reviewing all of our protocols and meeting on a regular basis to address the situation. We are closely monitoring reported illnesses and taking necessary steps and following the state and local guidelines from health experts to keep conditions in our Music Academy healthy and safe.

As of now, Music Academy at Denver and Boulder sites are operating on a normal schedule. Should the nearby schools in the Denver Public School and Boulder Valley School Districts close, we will parallel the DPS and BVSD decision and move to remote learning with regularly scheduled lessons and classes using various online platforms that are readily available.

It is understandable to be concerned and have questions. This is a rapidly evolving situation. We will send updates to you as important new information comes to our attention in the coming weeks and months.

Sincerely,

SoYoung Lee                                              Stephen Dilts, M.D.
