Rocky Ridge 2010 Student Music Seminars

Young Artist Seminar -- YAS (for ages 15-24)
June 29 to August 1, 2010   (5 weeks) - Audition Required

The Young Artist Seminar (YAS) is a 5 week camp for advanced students in the upper High School grades and College. YAS is designed to be an intensive seminar highlighted by instruction from world renowned faculty and visiting artists, orchestral and chamber music experience, voice and chamber choir as well as frequent performance opportunities.

 

Junior Student Seminar 1 -- JSS1 (for ages 10-15)
June 15 to June 27, 2010  (2 weeks)

Junior Student Seminar 2 -- JSS2 (for ages 10-15)
August 3 to August 15, 2010 (2 weeks)

The Junior Student Seminar - Both JSS seminars are the same and targeted toward young musicians (ages 10-15).  Along with private lessons, orchestra, theory and choir, the students are encouraged to participate in recreational activities that range from horseback riding to crafts to hiking in the surrounding Rocky Mountain National Park. There are performance opportunities every evening, and the session concludes with a weekend of final concerts which parents are invited and encouraged to attend.
