Timothy Cuffman currently serves as concertmaster of the Longmont Symphony and Assistant Concertmaster of the Cheyenne Symphony. He is also a member of the Fort Collins Symphony. Cuffman has been a teaching assistant at Ohio University and the University of Iowa, where he earned a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Violin Performance and Pedagogy in 2016. He also holds Masters degrees in Violin Performance and Upper String Pedagogy from Ohio University as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance from the University of Akron. As an educator, he has presented at the national conference of the American String Teacher’s Association in Pittsburgh in 2016. Timothy has given guest performances and masterclasses at Eastern Kentucky University, Bloomsburg University, and Valley City State University.
